It's been a while...

October rolls along and the year's promises have seeped plain through the cracks,
while you're still digesting June's unnerving pace.

Time: Once again; usurper, candidly-wrought friend.

The threat of thunderstorms cavorts like an exposed nerve meeting salt,
day is done and night unwound, heart still asunder as soul begets clamour.

I, a mere sibilant eye; roving and remembering,
memory's clandestine articulation stretched beyond belief.

Grasping and clawing, we made our way into this widely unstuck sentience;
only to be bent by walls that make crawling appeal against the fear of falling.
